Culturally Responsive Considerations for African American English (SC45)

This session will briefly examine the role that culture and identity may play for students who speak African American English. The session will also focus on different assessment methods, using both standardized and nonstandardized measures, and present ways to integrate cultural-linguistic responsiveness into documentation.

This session can count toward the ASHA certification maintenance professional development requirement for DEI.
