When students sustain concussions and require support, SLPs can implement a team approach to distribute responsibilities associated with supporting children with mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) within schools. This session will review principles related to proactive management of concussion/mTBI within schools. The session will include tips and practice interviewing students, developing academic adjustment recommendations, and advocating for a proactive team approach.
