Supervisor of Special Education
Pittsburgh Public Schools
Warner is a supervisor of special education in the Pittsburgh Public School District. She has been an ASHA and PSHA member since 2010. She has served as an ASHA State Education Advocacy Leader (SEAL) since October 2017, as a SEAL Champ for the Northeast region since January 2020, and on the ASHA School Issues Advisory Board (SIAB) from January 2020-December 2022. Early in her career, she worked as an SLP in the hospital and skilled nursing facility settings; however, the public school setting quickly stole her heart. As a school-based SLP, she excelled in her work with the low incidence student population and advocacy of the role of an SLP in the school setting. This passion led to her pursuit of working in special education administration, where her areas of interest have been supervising related service providers, parent/family engagement, and differentiated instruction. She is a Special Olympics coach and an active volunteer in her community.
