Dr. Rich is Professor of Practice in the Speech-Language Pathology MS program at the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Rich teaches courses in child and adolescent assessment and intervention for language disorders and Public School Methods. She supervises graduate students in pediatric programs through the Urban Speech and Language Initiative – a joint effort between UT Dallas and the Dallas Independent School District. Dr. Rich is the 2023 Immediate Past President of ASHA and is active in the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association, serving on several committees and task forces. Prior to joining the faculty at UT Dallas, she worked as a speech-language pathologist, special education director, and assistant superintendent for student services in North Texas public school districts. Dr. Rich earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Riverside and a master’s degree and doctorate from the University of North Texas.
