This session will discuss neurodiversity-affirming approaches to supporting peer interactions for autistic children. The presenters will introduce the conversation analysis (CA) method of assessing social communicative competence and use case illustrations to demonstrate its potential. The session will include a tutorial of CA with case illustration and embedded activities to practice the basic procedures of CA.
