Coffee Break, sponsored by ASHA-PAC, Thursday, July 13, 3:45-4:45 p.m.: Stop by ASHA’s Advocacy booth (228) for an ASHA-PAC sponsored coffee break! Join us for refreshments and conversation about the advocacy work ASHA is doing every day to support school-based members.
Exhibitor Attendee Connect Challenge Game: Visit the Exhibit Hall and find the answers to exhibitors’ questions. Answer each question correctly to be eligible to win one of the awesome prizes exhibitors have donated. Pick up a game card as you enter the Exhibit Hall, and return your completed card to the game table at the door by 1:45 p.m. on Friday, July 14. Winners will be notified during Friday’s Last-Chance Reception. Good luck!
Questions of the Day: A daily question about your favorite intervention tools will be featured inside the Exhibit Hall, with a giant board for you to share your answers and take photos of other people’s answers to walk away with some new ideas for the 2023-2024 school year.

Other Engagement Opportunities

Walk and Talk Gatherings: Start off your conference mornings on the right (or left) foot! Meet your fellow school-based SLPs for a morning walk at 6:00 a.m. in the Hyatt Regency and Renaissance hotel lobbies, and use this time to network, make new friends, and get in a bit of exercise before a day of learning. Walking maps will be included on the Schools Connect mobile app.
Connecting Conversations: Get your SLP brains thinking about strategies, books, and resources to share with fellow attendees during lunch and afternoon breaks. Nothing like bringing home recommendations from colleagues across the country!
ASHA School-Based Volunteer Meet and Greet, sponsored by Presence and SpeakSuite, Friday, July 14, 12:15–1:15 p.m.: Grab your lunch from the Exhibit Hall and then join the ASHA Board of Directors and other volunteer leaders to find out what’s happening across the Association and how you can be a part of things. Selfies, questions, and handshakes are welcome!.
ASHA Schools Connect Book Drive, sponsored by Dynamic Resources, is a chance to share a new or gently children's book (preschool through high school grade-level) with the students of Long Beach Unified School District. Dynamic Resources will have books available for purchase, or bring a book from home and drop it off at the Dynamic Resources booth (323).
ASHA Schools Connect Spirit Contest, sponsored by Next Level Speech: Strike a pose! Want to win a $100 Amazon gift card? Visit the ASHA Schools Connect/Next Level Speech step-and-repeat banner inside the Exhibit Hall, grab a fun prop or sign, and snap a selfie. Post your photo on Facebook, tag Next Level Speech Therapy, P.C., and add the hashtag #ASHASchoolsConnect23. Enter individually or as a group of up to 4 people, and make sure your post is set to public (not private). Three winners will be chosen at random on Saturday, July 15, at 5:00 p.m. Winners will be contacted via Facebook with instructions on how to claim their gift card. (If the winner is a group, the gift card value will be divided equally among the group.)
Connect Capture Contest: Snap, share, and win—join the fun for a chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card! Find, capture, and post as many photos as you’d like throughout the duration of the conference. Share them on the mobile app’s activity feed for a chance to win the contest, and have your photos shared on ASHA’s social media channels. Three lucky winners will be selected randomly at the conclusion of the event, so the more you post, the better your chances of winning! Showcase your photo skills, connect with your community, and win. Good luck!

Connect on discussion boards related to each session, post a professional profile, and send direct messages via the in-conference message center.
In the virtual exhibit hall, learn about products and services directly related to your job, and participate in contests and giveaways from our sponsors.
Each day when you log in, answer the daily Connecting Conversations prompt to share your recommendations and good ideas with your colleagues.
